“Born and grown up in St. Petersbourg, Russia.
From 2002 to 2006 studies at the Faculty of Oriental and African Studies, St. Petersbourg State University, Russia, majoring in African Studies with focus on Languages and culture of East Africa.
After the graduation from the University had a great chance to travel, visiting Europe, USA, Canada.
From 2006 to 2008 worked in the jungles of South America, and also traveled through Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Tunisia, China, as well as St. Vincent and Grenadines, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago. From 2009 worked in different parts and corners of Africa, like Namibia, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Island of Zanzibar.
Always dreamed of being an artist. Since the very early childhood. The first paintings and handmade things were created in 2006, while being in Guyana, South America.
In 2007 while being in Africa, created hand made jewelry which was later sold at local Artisanal market.
In 2010 returned to South America and concentrated on art and painting more seriously.
In July 2011 opened first art exhibition at the Dutch Bottle Cafe in Georgetown, Guyana.
In August 2011 arranged another art exhibition at the Russian- Tanzanian Cultural Centre, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
After the exhibition in Dar es Salaam, established Mayya Artwork presents and products, what includes paintings, murals, handmade jewelry and decorations.
Presently lives and works in Guyana, South America, developing new set of paintings dedicated to the beauty of East Africa.”
